Dsquared2 was created by Dean and Dan Caten, Canadian twin brothers from Willowdale, Ontario. The Dsquared label combines outdoorsy details with a glam-rock aesthetic. In 1994, Dean and Dan Caten were launched onto the fashion scene when they premiered their first collection. It was from this point forward when DSquared started to gain extreme popularity, especially amongst its large celebrity following.
